We all have heard of the family feud, it's been on TV for years. It's had some good hosts throughout the years, but I got say Steve Harvey is probably the most popular one. I just love his reaction to some crazy answers.
I have always been a fan of the show, and recently started seeing some clips in the reels and shorts that Instagram and YouTube send my way. For the most part these clips weren't even coming from any Family Feud page, but from other Creators. It would just be the clip from the show with some text added by the Creator of the Reel or Short.
It got me thinking, some of these reels and shorts weren't anything special, and like many of my other videos I thought I could make them better. My first crack at it was two months ago with the video below.
Specifically the laugh from the other contestant was what I thought was the best part of the video. Hence my heading tag of "If you need a good laugh today," and then the "wait for it," with the arrow pointing to the other contestant.
The "Good Laugh Today," can have two meanings. One what she is about to say will make you laugh. Two the actual laugh from the other contestant. Nearly 1800 views and 27 likes later, I saw an opportunity.
The opportunity was that if you find something that works you should run with it. If you watch any YouTube videos of how to be a success, one of the first things they mention is run with what works.
So since I found success with that first video, I decided to try another one. Three weeks ago I debut my second Family Feud video. 43 likes and over 1900 views later, a trend was developing. Below you'll find the "Chicken," video.
This time I thought no need for text timing, her answer was the focus. Sorry no Steve Harvey in this video, but again her answer was so funny, I could have been the host. I came up with back to back videos following that one, 12 and 11 days ago.
The one 12 days ago, I paired with other footage from a wrestling clip of the Rock. At first there wasn't much views, and I thought oh well the ride is over. However to date the video below has nearly 1700 views and 27 likes.
That brings me to my last Family Feud video clip. A total guy video, and the silence was what I focused on. The plan wasn't to do back to back Family feud videos only a day apart, but I came across the video below, and instantly had an idea.
92 likes and nearly 2400 views later it is my most popular video in this series. However I did post a new one the other day that got over 3000 views, but I got a copyright claim against it, so I took it down today.
The copyright claim wasn't from family feud, but from another Creator, and now that I think of it. I don't think I gave proper credit in my description, and that might have been the cause for the claim.
I believe many Creators like myself don't mind our content being reused as long as credit is given. I try to put out original content, when I can, but I also like adding my own flair to other videos like these for example.
This is the first time I have dealt with a claim, and my video collection is over 80 at this point. I could have fought it, but if someone doesn't want me to re-share their content, I won't point blank.
These four videos have nearly 8000 views combined, like I said if its working run with it. Stay toned for my next family feud video. I am sure I'll have another one out soon in the future.
